Export and import a profile in Mind Express 5

Would you like to back up a profile (portal with pagesets, as well as the settings for this profile) in its entirety or send it to someone else? This can be done completely offline and therefore without using Google Drive.

 

Export a profile

There are two ways to export a profile.

Option 1:

1. Go to Menu > Settings > My Profile.
2. In the profile settings, you will find the Export Profile button:
   

 

 

Option 2:

1. Go to the profile overview. You can do this from a profile via Menu > Switch Profile:
   
2. In ME5 > in your profile overview > click on “Edit Profile” at the bottom of this overview.
   
3. A pencil icon will now appear on your profile(s). Click on the profile you wish to export.
   
4. In the window, select ‘Export profile’ and save the profile to the desired location (USB stick, hard drive, etc.).
   

 

 

 

Import a profile

The recipient of this exported profile:

1. In ME5 > in your profile overview > click on:
   
2. Then click on:
   
3. In the next screen, locate where the profile is saved (USB stick, hard drive, One Drive, etc.) and then click on ‘Open’.
   
4. You should now see the profile appear in your ME5 profile overview on this local computer.
